Legal Tech Navigator

Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2025

The Legal Tech Navigator is a free resource provided by Aclaria to help in-house legal teams explore and compare legal technology options. By using the Navigator, you agree to the terms below.

Information, not advice

The content provided through the Navigator — including tool descriptions, scoring, rankings, and AI-generated summaries — is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, commercial, procurement, or technology advice of any kind.

You should conduct your own due diligence before selecting, purchasing, or implementing any technology tool. We strongly recommend involving qualified advisors where appropriate.

Vendor-agnostic positioning

Aclaria has no commercial relationships with the vendors listed in the Navigator. Tools are included based on relevance to the Australian legal market and publicly available information. No vendor has paid to be featured, ranked, or highlighted.

The Navigator Score and any matching results are generated independently and do not represent endorsements.

Data limitations

The Navigator database is updated periodically but may not reflect the most current product features, pricing, availability, or market status of any tool. Vendor information can change rapidly.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or free from error. Where discrepancies exist between Navigator data and vendor-published information, the vendor's own materials should be treated as authoritative.

AI and matching

The Navigator uses AI-based semantic matching and scoring to surface relevant tools in response to user queries. These results are generated algorithmically and may not reflect all available tools or the optimal solution for your specific context.

AI-generated summaries and comparisons are designed to assist exploration, not to replace professional evaluation. Results should be treated as a starting point, not a definitive recommendation.

User responsibility

You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any tool is appropriate for your organisation's needs, risk profile, budget, and legal obligations. The Navigator does not assess security, data residency, regulatory compliance, or contract terms on your behalf.

Use of any tool you discover through the Navigator is subject to that vendor's own terms and conditions.

Third-party content and liability

Tool descriptions, capability claims, and other content sourced from vendors or third parties are presented as provided and have not been independently verified in full. Aclaria accepts no liability for inaccuracies in third-party content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aclaria excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information provided through the Navigator, including direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.
